THE CLUB

The SLS AMG is one of the most exciting production vehicles in history. We admire its cultural and historical significance.

Our club has members from Lake Tegernsee to the North Sea. Above all, we are united by one thing: we are SLS AMG enthusiasts. We love its appearance, its sound, and the driving experience it offers. The SLS AMG will surely achieve the same cult status as the 300 SL from the 1950s.

However, a neo-classic like the SLS AMG is not meant to be owned only: throughout the year, we go on joint drives, present our cars at selected events, and sometimes even venture onto the racetrack. As “SLS ambassadors,” we are on the road throughout Germany.

We come from different professions and different places. At the heart of our club is a shared passion for cars. Whether at our joint spring brunch or at our annual meeting, we enjoy coming together. There is always plenty of variety: the location and the accompanying program change with every meeting — only the enjoyment remains the same.

As a member of our club, you can also look forward to a number of benefits: for example, you receive discounts on events that are subject to a fee. You also benefit when ordering an SLS AMG luggage set or club apparel. We do our best to regularly organize extensive and up-to-date discount campaigns.

Within the club, we take care of our cars together: we share our experiences with service and technology, help one another, and provide or arrange assistance. Driving is even more enjoyable together.

We would be delighted to welcome you to our club: the annual membership fee is €120, plus a one-time admission fee of an additional €100. A membership is priceless.

HISTORY

“The best car in the world” — that is how Jeremy Clarkson described the SLS AMG when he tested it on the show Top Gear. He is not alone in this opinion: the grand touring coupé impresses not only with its extraordinary design, but also with its powerful engineering beneath the surface.

The SLS AMG was first launched in 2010. Production of the final model ended in 2014. For good reason: an icon is only an icon if it is not available on every corner and every day. As a result, the collector value of these vehicles continues to rise steadily.

The vehicles draw their design inspiration from the Mercedes 300 SLR and 300 SL. At the time, these models were major commercial successes for what is now the automotive giant. They were sold from 1954 to 1957.

The SLS AMG models were handcrafted in Sindelfingen and Affalterbach: each engine was assembled by a single technician. Their signature can be found on a plaque in every vehicle.

The first sports car developed by AMG impresses both in appearance and performance. As a modern style icon, this high-performance vehicle remains the flagship of AMG and Mercedes to this day.

The SLS AMG was unveiled at the IAA in 2009 and went on sale on March 27, 2010. A total of exactly 11,473 SLS AMG vehicles were produced: 2,799 roadsters, which were sold from November 2011 onwards, and 8,674 gullwing coupés. Production was discontinued in June 2014.

We welcome everyone to our club who belongs to the fortunate group of owners.
